Terms of service
These terms cover how we quote, deliver, charge and support. Where you have signed a separate agreement or a scope document with us, that document takes precedence over anything here.
Payment terms and cancellation are set out here and repeated in the refund policy, which is the shorter read.
Version of 4 August 2026
1. Who these terms are between
These terms apply between Silverconne Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, of Harare, Zimbabwe, and the person or organisation buying from us. "You" means that person or organisation. "We" means us.
They apply to everything we sell: our products, our services, our workshops and our websites. Where a signed agreement, scope document or order form says something different, that document applies.
2. Quotes and orders
- A quote is valid for 30 days from its date unless it says otherwise, and it names what is included and what is not.
- A configuration you build on this site is an indication of price for the options you selected. It becomes binding when we confirm the order.
- An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing. Payment alone does not create an obligation on us to deliver something we have not confirmed.
- If a price on this site is wrong, we will tell you before taking payment and you decide whether to proceed. We will not quietly charge the corrected figure.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are in United States dollars.
- Website packages: pay 25% today, 75% on delivery. Full refund if we have not started within 5 days.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance, and continue until you cancel.
- Custom software is billed against agreed stages, each with its own deliverable and its own price.
- Workshop seats are paid at booking. The cancellation terms are shown before you pay.
- Where value added tax applies to a supply, it is shown separately on the invoice.
- Invoices are due on the date stated on them. We may pause work on an overdue account, and we will tell you before we do rather than going quiet.
Refunds are covered by the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
4. Delivery and dates
We commit to a date in writing before you pay, and we work to it. Dates assume we get what we need from you when the scope says we need it — content, data, approvals, access and a decision-maker.
- If we are late for our own reasons, the price does not change and we tell you at the weekly demo rather than at the deadline.
- If a date moves because something we needed from you did not arrive, we will reschedule and say so at the time.
- Where a delay is caused by something outside either party’s control, we agree a revised date in good faith.
5. What we need from you
- One person who can make decisions and approve work.
- Access to the data and systems the scope depends on.
- Accurate information. If the opening balances you give us are wrong, the system will be wrong in the same way.
- The right to use anything you give us — content, logos, images, data. You confirm you have that right when you send it to us.
6. Changes to scope
Either of us can propose a change. A change is written up with its cost and its effect on the date, and it is built once you have approved it. We do not absorb changes silently and present a different invoice at the end, and we do not build unapproved changes and ask for payment afterwards.
7. Ownership
- Custom software we build for you
- Yours on full payment, as set out in the scope document, together with the source code.
- Our products
- CheckERP, ASOFT ERP, Augustus AI and Asolen AI remain ours. You hold a licence to use them for as long as your subscription runs.
- Pre-existing components
- Libraries and internal tools we already owned stay ours, and you get a licence to use them as part of what we delivered.
- Your data
- Yours, always, including when you leave. You can export it at any time in a standard format.
- Your content
- Yours. We use it to deliver what you asked for and for nothing else without asking.
8. Confidentiality
We see how your business runs, and often what it earns. We keep that confidential, we tell only the people working on your project, and we do not name you as a client or describe your project publicly without your written permission. That is why the case studies on this site are anonymised.
9. Support
- Every client has a named contact, reachable on WhatsApp and by email.
- Support hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 CAT. WhatsApp is monitored outside those hours.
- Response commitments depend on what you bought and are stated in your agreement. Where a care plan applies, its terms apply.
- Fixing something we built that does not do what the scope said is not chargeable. New work is quoted.
10. Acceptable use
Do not use anything we host to break the law, to send unsolicited bulk messages, to store someone else’s data without the right to, or to attack our systems or anyone else’s. We may suspend a service that is doing any of those, and we will tell you why.
11. Warranties and limits
We warrant that we will carry out the work with reasonable skill and care, and that what we deliver will do what the scope document says it does. Where it does not, we fix it.
Software is not free of defects and we do not claim ours is. What we commit to is a route to getting a defect fixed and a person who owns it.
12. Ending an agreement
- A subscription can be cancelled at the end of any billing period. Tell us before the period ends.
- A project can be stopped by either of us in writing. You pay for work done and stages delivered to that point; we hand over what has been built and your data.
- Either of us may end an agreement if the other is in material breach and has not fixed it within 30 days of being told about it.
- On termination you keep your data and your licences as set out above. We do not withhold data over a commercial dispute.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe have jurisdiction. Before either of us goes near a court, we will each put someone senior in a room, in person, and try to settle it.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The dates at the top of the page change when we do. A change does not alter the terms of an agreement already signed, and we will tell clients about a material change rather than relying on you rereading this page.
Questions about these terms
If something here does not work for your procurement process, tell us during scoping. It is usually a solvable problem, and it is far easier to solve before a signature than after one.
